August stay for a family event revealed a charming atmosphere with a peaceful garden view. The double room was clean, with comfortable bedding and quality toiletries. Breakfast stood out with excellent choices and attentive staff, but be sure to order everything upfront, as some items aren't automatically included. a delightful experience, though the absence of lunch options was disappointing.

the bowl inn is such a cozy pub, really liked how the staff were super friendly and the food was yummy, breakfast and dinner were delish every day we stayed, also the room was comfy with a king size bed, made it feel like home.
but the bathroom was kinda small and the noise from the pub downstairs could be heard sometimes at night.

We recently enjoyed our stay here with the kids, and the highlight was a visit to the Bristol Aquarium. The children loved seeing all the colorful fish and even the tropical plants! The room was spacious enough for my family and had a cozy atmosphere.
In my children’s opinion, having more kid-friendly options on the dinner menu would be great.

Just a nice choice for a short layover in Almondsbury with very good value for money. The bed was comfortable and the poached eggs at breakfast were spot on. Make sure to ask for hot water for tea, as it’s not boiling.

Charming countryside escape with exceptional food
I loved the warm atmosphere and exceptional quality of the meals, especially the hearty breakfast that set a positive tone for the day. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. One small downside was the noise from the pub during the evenings that occasionally disrupted the quiet ambiance.
